Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourns hearing of three customs references

ISLAMABAD: The Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-I on Thursday adjourned the hearing of three Customs references filed against Model Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad.

A single bench of the Customs Appellate Tribunal comprising Member Technical Muhammad Nasir Khan heard the cases and adjourned the hearing until April 4.

Out of these three, one reference was filed by Zamanul Haq and M/S Ali Garments had filed two. Advocate M Ali and Syed Aun Muhammad represented the cases before the tribunal on behalf of the appellants, respectively.

Appellant had challenged MCC decisions. Hearing of these cases was adjourned following seeking of adjournment by the department. The department had sought time from tribunal to submit relating documents and inquiry reports from concerned officers.
