ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal Single Bench comprising Member Technical, Muhammad Nasir Khan heard two cases filed by M/s Amson Vaccines (Private) Limited, Islamabad and Muhammad Nadeem.
M/s Amson Vaccines had made Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad, respondent in its reference. M/s Amson Vaccines had filed the petition, challenging an order of the Customs Department for imposing a penalty on it for paying short-duty under the head of different imported items.
The appellant, M Nadeem, had challenged the confiscation of an embassy auctioned vehicle. The vehicle was confiscated by Islamabad Customs’ authorities which was auctioned in 1983. After hearing the arguments on both cases, the tribunal adjourned the hearing until March 25.
