Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourns hearings of 12 cases

LAHORE: The division bench-II of the Customs Appellate Tribunal, comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq, heard 12 hearings of cases on Thursday and adjourned the hearings of all the cases until the next hearing.

The tribunal heard hearings of 12 cases, including Customs Multan versus Kabub Enterprises, Nazar Hussain versus Customs Multan, Advance International versus Customs Lahore, Hafiz Muhammad Tariq versus Customs Lahore and Abdul Rehman versus Customs Multan.

On Thursday, the Customs Appellate Tribunal heard hearings of cases, including Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Fakhar Abbas, Hamyon Akber versus Customs Lahore and Six Star Sports versus Customs Sambrial.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard the hearings of cases of Toya Plast versus Post Clearance Audit Lahore, Kalash Textile versus Customs Faisalabad, Abdul Hashim versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Muhammad Aqeel Yaqoob versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan and Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Tawaz Khan.

In all the cases, the counsels for the appellants appeared before the court and presented their arguments. After hearing the arguments, the tribunal member adjourns the hearings of the cases for the next dates.

Wednesday was the last day for the hearing of the week as the Customs Appellate tribunal only hears the hearing for first four days of the week. The tribunal will neither hear any case on Friday and Saturday nor hear cases on Monday.
