Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II will hear three customs references today

ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal Bench-II will hear three customs references, on Tuesday (today), carrying complaints against difference field offices of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

M/s United Mobile had filed customs case against Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation (DG Intelligence and Investigations), Islamabad. Directorate General deputy director had been made respondent in the cases. M/s United Mobile, through its appeal, 139/CU/IB/2015, had sought release of 160 mobiles which were seized by customs intelligence, Islamabad.

In other cases, M/s Attock Enterprises and M/s Madni Poly Tex had challenged Model Collectorate of Customs’ , decisions before the Bench-II of Customs Appellate Tribunal. Both the said parties had pleaded the tribunal to provide relief against penalization by the department authorities.

Customs Appellate Tribunal Single Bench comprising of Muhammad Maqsood ul Hassan (Member Judicial) would hear the said cases.
