Customs Appellate Tribunal chairman hears 31 cases, issues judgements

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal Chairman Muhammad Tariq spent ا busy day in Lahore as he heard 31 cases of different nature and issued judgements.

The chairman along with relevant members of bench I-II conduct hearing of cases and record the arguments of both parties and also disposed of many cases.

As per details, the cases were filed by appellants from different cities of Punjab including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad and Sialkot and decided some of them.

Some cases were filed by accused parties and some by customs departments. During hearing of cases the members of Customs Appellate Tribunal including, Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti, Member Judicial and Khawja Umer Mehdi, Member Technical of bench-I and Umer Arshed Hakeem Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical of bench-II assisted the chairman in above mentioned cases.
