Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 10 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal heard 10 cases on Thursday and adjourned all the cases to different dates and reserved the verdict in few cases.

According to the details, division bench-II comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq Member Technical heard seven cases, including Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Gul Gan, Jameel Brothers versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Muhammad Ramzan Afzal versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of Al-Hamra Fabrics versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Noor Ali versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Sadiq versus Customs Lahore, Master Link versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

On Thursday, the same bench heard cases filed by M/s Cotton Craft versus Customs Lahore, Raja Intesar Mehboob versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat and Muhammad versus Customs Lahore.

In the cases which are adjourned the members of Customs Appellate Tribunal ordered the appellant to appear on the next dates of hearing and present arguments in their respective parties.

In the next two days of week members will not hear any case but the other staff of Customs Appellant Tribunal will attend the office and perform duties. Tribunal will start hearing regularly on Monday.
