Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 12 important cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal division bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Member Technical Imran Tariq heard 12 cases and adjourned all the cases until the next hearing.

The Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned the hearing of 12 cases, including J.K Fabric Mills versus customs Lahore, Pak Elektron Limited (PEL) versus Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore, Colony Mills versus customs Lahore and customs Lahore versus Punjab Impex.

On Monday, the tribunal heard cases of Safder Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, customs Faisalabad versus Iftikhar Ahmed, Farhan Saleem versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad and Abdul Bari versus customs Faisalabad.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard Aamir Shehzad versus customs Faisalabad, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Muhammad Akram Chohan, Syed Rehan Zaidi versus customs Lahore and Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Arif Abdullah.

In all the cases, the representatives of the appellants and respondents appeared before the court and argued in favor of their respective parties. After hearing the arguments from the parties, the Customs Appellate Tribunal reserve verdict in case of Syed Rehan Zaidi versus customs Lahore and adjourned all the other cases until the next hearing.
