Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 14 cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Imran Tariq heard 14 cases on Tuesday and adjourned all of them until next hearing.

The Customs Tribunal heard two cases on the directions of the Lahore High Court (LHC), including Owais and Shoaib versus Post Clearance Audit (PCA), Lahore, and Amjad Ali versus Lahore Customs.

Furthermore, the tribunal heard three stay cases in which all appellants namely as Rehamat Ullah, Shah PVC and Sardar Muhammad had filed case against Lahore Customs Intelligence.

On Tuesday, the Customs Tribunal heard nine regular cases, including PEL versus Lahore PCA, Muhammad Anwar versus Lahore Customs Intelligence, Ali Muhammad versus Lahore Customs Intelligence, Sambrial Customs versus Saeed Mahmood, Rahim Bibi versus Lahore Customs, Lahore Customs versus Haroon Brothers, Abdul Ali versus Lahore Customs Intelligence, Hafiz Steel versus Multan Customs Intelligence and Baz Muhamamd versus Lahore Customs Intelligence.

It may be mentioned here that on Monday, the Customs Appellate Tribunal heard 10 cases against the Lahore Customs filed by the appellants, including Mansoor Salahuddin, Naseer Brothers, Shiekh Ijaz Ahmed, A-One Enterprises, Rashid Yaqoob, Muhammad Sohail Ashraf, Askri Logistics.

The tribunal also heard cases filed by Pak Elect versus Lahore PCA, Wapda Nespak versus Multan Customs, Muhammad Latif versus Faisalabad Customs Intelligence, Multan Customs versus Mian Muhamamd Naeem.
