Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 18 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single and double bench) on Thursday heard 18 cases and adjourned all for different dates. The verdicts of two appeals were reserved to pass the final order.

The division bench-II, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard 14 cases including two stay petitions of Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Lahore versus Raees Umer, Abdul Bari versus Collector Customs Faisalabad.

The same bench heard 12 regular cases including Muhammad Saddique versus Collector Customs Faisalabad, Rana Shukat Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Lahore, Reham Ullah Ilyas versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Lahore, Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Faisalabad versus Muhammad Israr, Abdul Baseer versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Multan, Khan Eziz versus Collector Customs Lahore.

Furthermore, same bench heard appeals of Barkat Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Multan, Zainab DF Private Limited versus collector customs Lahore three appeals, Hassan Askari versus collector customs Multan, Juma Khan versus Collector Customs Faisalabad and Naqeeb Ashraf versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Lahore.

Ghulam Shabbir Gujjar, member judicial bench-I, heard six cases including Ghulam Hussain versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Multan, Collector Customs Multan versus Pervaiz, Collector Customs Sialkot versus Masta Enterprises, Muhammad Yousaf & others versus Collector Customs Sambrial, Ameer Hamza versus Collector Customs Multan and Muhammad Saeed versus collector customs Multan,
