Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 19 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single & double) bench heard 19 cases on Monday and adjourned all for different dates without those cases whose verdicts were reserved.

The division bench-II, comprising Omer Arshad Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard 10 cases including Yasir Bashir versus Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Customs Lahore versus M/s JP Constructions, Awais and Shoib versus Directorate of Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore, Customs Lahore versus H Ali Constructions, Shakir Hussain versus Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Shakoor, Customs Lahore versus Ahmed Traders, Sohail & Brothers versus Director Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Khadim Hussain Chandio versus Customs Anti Smuggling Organization Multan and Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Fakhar Abbas.

The single bench-I, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial, heard nine cases which include Chaudhary Ali Mubashir versus Anti Smuggling Organization Lahore, Director Intelligence and Investigation Multan versus Suliman etc, Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Shahzad Hamid, Dil Murad versus Director Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Sajjad Qureshi.

On Monday same bench also heard cases of Muhammad Rizwan versus Anti Smuggling Organization Lahore, Director Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Abdul Sattar and Penna Oversease Corporation two cases versus Customs Sialkot.
