Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 24 cases on Monday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (CAT) heard 24 different cases which were scheduled for hearing on Monday.

Out of all 24, four cases are filed the first time before Customs Appellate Tribunal and the tribunal admitted all the four. The fresh cases including Sitara Taxtile versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Zaman versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Abdul Razzaq versus Customs, Muhammad Saddique versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

Furthermore, Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical of Bench-II, conducted the hearing of all cases. During the hearing, the counsel for the appellants and representatives of the departments appeared before the court.

Customs Appellate Tribunal heard cases of Customs Multan versus Kaukab Enterprises, Nazir Hussain versus Customs Multan, Ali Shan versus Customs Multan, Abdul Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, K.P.I Private Limited versus Customs Faisalabad, Baz Muhammad versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

Furthermore, Advance International versus Customs Lahore, Askar Oil services versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan Sadiqabad Unit, Zeeshan Afzal versus Directorate Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Muneer Ali Khan versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Ali Shah versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Muhammad Nawaz versus directorate Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, Mir Constructions versus Customs Lahore.

More cases heard including, four cases of Muhammad Ramzan, Qamer Khan, Muhammad Mahboob and Muhammad Yousaf versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Gujrat, two cases of Faiz Hussain and Muhamamd Wali versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.
