Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 25 cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single and double bench) on Thursday heard 25 cases and adjourned all for different dates without those cases whose verdicts were reserved. The verdicts of two appeals were reserved to pass the final order.

The division bench-II, comprising Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq, Member Technical, heard 18 cases including Customs Lahore versus Bitumen Traders, Fateh Muhammad versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Multan, Jam Amjad Boota versus Customs Multan, Javaid Saddique versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Arshed versus Customs Multan, Oyster Fabrics versus Customs Lahore, Fahad Ali versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Multan and Customs Lahore versus Muhammad Saddique.

The same bench heard appeals of Azhar Hussain Gillani versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Multan two appeals, Hassan Askari versus Customs Multan, Shiekh Chemicals versus Customs Lahore, Karachi Chemicals versus Customs Lahore, Khawaja Chemicals versus Customs Lahore, Vessel Way versus Customs Lahore, Sajid Chemicals versus Customs Lahore, Yaqoob & Sons versus Customs Lahore and S U Enterprises versus Customs Lahore.

Ghulam Shabbir Gujjar, member judicial bench-I, heard five cases including Collector Customs Lahore versus Zulfiqar, Zulfiqar Ali versus Customs Lahore, Munawar Shah versus Customs Sialkot, Customs Lahore versus Farjana and Customs Lahore versus Jabar Raza.

Imran Tariq member Technical bench-II heard two appeals of Muhammad Sharief Kashif versus Customs Multan and Ameer Hamza versus Directorate of Intelligence & Investigation Multan.
