Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 28 cases on Wednesday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal (single and double) bench heard 28 cases and adjourned all for different dates without those cases whose verdicts were reserved. The verdicts of three appeals were reserved to pass the final order.

The Division Bench-II, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial and Saud Imran, Member Technical, heard 11 cases including Abdul Basit versus Customs Lahore, Nuzhat Bukhari versus Customs Lahore, Customs Lahore versus Nuzhat Shah, Al Rehman Fabrics versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Raja Qaiser versus Customs Sambrial, SMD sons versus directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan.

The same bench heard appeals of Customs Lahore versus Al Tawakul Agency, Customs Lahore versus Basharat Ali, Customs Lahore versus HR Traders, Muhammad Umer versus Customs Faisalabad and Customs Lahore versus Khurram Azhar.

The Single Bench-II, comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial, heard eleven cases including directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Iqbal & Sons, directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Bio Link tech, Shahid Hussain versus customs Lahore, New Ali Enterprises versus Customs Lahore, directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus M/s Aqeel Plastic, M/s M A Sons versus Customs Lahore, M/s G M Cable versus Customs Lahore, M/s Orient Coating & Finishing Mills versus Customs Faisalabad and directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Zain Enterprises.

Muhammad Shabbir Gujjar judicial bench –I heard six appeal including directorate Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Lahore versus Khan baba silk, Ahmed fine textile mills versus Collector Customs Multan, Muhammad Ibrahim versus Collector Customs Faisalabad, Capital SRL versus Collector Customs Lahore and Munawar Shah versus Collector Customs Sambrial.
