Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 32 cases on Tuesday

LAHORE: Customs Appellate Tribunal bench-II comprising Judicial Member Omer Arshad Hakeem and Technical Member Khawaja Omer Mehdi heard 32 cases on Tuesday and adjourned all of them until the next dates of hearing.

Customs Appellate Tribunal heard two cases on the directions of the Lahore High Court (LHC), including Muhammad Yousaf versus Customs Lahore, Customs Lahore versus Muhammad Yousaf.

Furthermore, the tribunal members heard three stay cases including Ahsan Mehmood versus Customs Lahore, Muhammad Amir versus Customs Lahore and Excell Pakistan versus Customs Lahore.

On Tuesday, the Customs Tribunal heard 27 regular cases, including Customs Lahore versus Advance International, Hafiz Muhammad Butt versus Customs Lahore, Abdul Razaq versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Madni Engineering versus Customs Multan, Usman Ali versus Customs Sambrial, Taj Impex versus Customs Sambrial, Abdul Rehman versus Customs Multan, Abdul Rehman versus Customs Sambrial, Customs Faisalabad versus Syed Liaqat Ali.

The tribunal also heard cases filed by Muhammad Afzal versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, A.J.Textile versus Customs Faisalabad, Saeed Buksh versus Customs Lahore, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Arif Abdullah. Byco Petroleum versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Mobile Sale versus Valuation Lahore, Fayyaz Trading versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore.

Tribunal also heard cases of Mughal Steel versus Customs Lahore, Surraya Textile versus Customs Lahore, Salman Butt versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, Khawaja Asad versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Saeed Nawaz versus Customs Multan, Fas Tube versus Customs Lahore two cases, Mian Ahsan versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore, two cases of Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Lahore versus Mian Ahsan and Rising Sun.
