Customs Appellate Tribunal hears 46 special cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal heard 46 important cases on Thursday. The members of all benches from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and Peshawar heard the cases in Lahore and adjourned all the cases until the next hearing. Chairman Customs Appellate Tribunal formed special benches to decide the cases.

The Customs Appellate Tribunal special division bench comprising Member Judicial Bench-II Karachi Tahir Zia Mehr and Member Technical Bench-II Karachi Nazim Saleem adjourned 23 cases of Muhammad Nawaz versus customs Gujranwala, two cases of Murawat Khan and Wateen Wimex versus customs Faisalabad, Honda Atlas cars two cases versus customs Lahore, Razik International and Bank of Khyber versus customs Lahore, Collector customs Faisalabad versus Nasrulla Khan, Amjed Javaid versus Customs Intelligence Faisalabad, Tawaz Khan versus customs Lahore.

Special division comprising Member Judicial Bench-II Omer Arshed Hakeem and Member Technical Bench-II Lahore Imran Tariq heard 12 cases of Raaz Muhammad versus FIU DG Khan, Farhad Ali versus Customs Intelligence Multan, Unison Traders versus customs Lahore, Hazoor Ahmed Khan versus directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad, Excel Pakistan versus customs Faisalabad, Syed Rehman Ziadi versus customs Lahore, Muhammad Ramzan versus customs Multan, Askar Oil versus Customs Intelligence Multan.

Chairman Customs Appellate Tribunal Justice ® Malik Manzoor Hussain and Member Technical Bench-I Karachi Zulifqar A Kazmi heard four cases including Muhammad Ibraheem versus customs Faisalabad, A Alam Khan versus Customs Faisalabad, Pak Star Automobile versus Customs Lahore.
