The tribunal’s officials stated that the chairman had informed them about cancellation of his trip to Islamabad the previous night and directed to postponed proceedings without mentioning any specific date of holding them again.

They added that the chairman was busy with his occupations at other regional offices since his tenure was ending on coming April 8.  Therefore, making an hectic trip to Islamabad was not feasible to him, they added.

The chairman was expected to hear cases in as single bench along with two division benches.  As a result of his trip cancelling, his DB, with Member Technical, Muhammad Nasir Khan and Member Technical, Maqsood ul Hassan could not hold hearings.
