The bench had adjourned the hearing last week for non-submission of relating documents by the counsels. M/s Warid Telecom had filed the case against Collectorate of Customs in 2016.

Through the petition, the company had challenged a decision announced by the adjudication for sustaining claims of recoverable customs duty of around Rs 40 million.

The tribunal had held the hearing last week and told the counsels to ensure their presence on the next hearing. The tribunal had issued the directives through assisting counsels who had appeared instead of the main counsels.
