Customs Appellate Tribunal reserves verdict of case involving DG I&I

ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal reserved decision of M/s Pakistan Telecommunication Co Limited’s customs reference on Friday.

Member Technical Ziauddin Wazir heard the matter along with other cases involving Collectorate of Customs and Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad. M/s Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited had filed customs reference against the Collectorate.

Earlier the bench had reserved decision on M/s National Highway Authority’s matter which had challenged a decision announced by MCC’s collector customs before the tribunal. The bench reserved decision after hearing arguments in the case.

Meanwhile, the bench adjourned hearing on Khurram Zafer, Nazeer Ahmed, and M/s Musa Ghee International’s cases filed against MCC and M/s Waseem Autos and M/s Nisar Traders cases.

M/s Waseem Autos and M/s Nisar Traders had filed cases against Collectorate of Customs and Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad.
