Customs Appellate Tribunal reserves verdict of few cases on Thursday

LAHORE: The Customs Appellate Tribunal heard eight cases on Thursday and adjourned all the cases to different dates and reserved the verdict in few cases.

According to the details, a division bench-II comprising Omer Arshed Hakeem, Member Judicial and Imran Tariq Member Technical heard eight cases, including Amjed Khan versus Customs Faisalabad, Hijvery Traders versus Customs Lahore, Dad Muhammad versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan.

Furthermore, same bench heard cases of Customs Lahore versus Faisal Ijaz, Jamshaid Ali versus Customs Lahore, Khalid Mehmood versus Customs Faisalabad, Ishitiq Ahmed versus Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Multan, Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad versus Fakhar Abbas.

In the cases which are adjourned the members of Customs Appellate Tribunal ordered the appellant to appear on the next dates of hearing and present arguments in their respective parties.

In the next two days of week members will not hear any case but the other staff of Customs Appellant Tribunal will attend the office and perform duties.
