Customs Appellate Tribunal to resume hearing of cases from today

ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal to resume hearing of customs references on Wednesday which it had adjourned during pre-Eid ul Azha proceedings.

Customs Appellate Tribunal’s bench comprising  Members Tribunal, Syed Muhammad Anwar and Muhammad Nasir Khan would resume hearing of the customs matters submitted by M/s Klaguardia Logistics and M/s Trade Master against Model Collectroate of Customs, Islamabad.

The bench had directed the counsels to ensure presence before the bench on next date of hearing for further arguments.

Customs Appellate Tribunal would also hear recently filed customs reference filed by M/s Kohinoor Trader.

Counsels from M/s Five Star Trading had appeared before the bench and demanded time from the bench for finalizing preparations for the case.

Customs appellate tribunal’s Member Technical, Ziaddin Wazir had heard the cases of Raja Nabeel, Waqas Enterprises, Arshad Khan and Musawir Shah had filed the cases last week.

Raja Nabeel had filed the cases against Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad. Other three appellants had filed their cases against Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad.

The appellants had filed cases against Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad and Model Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad.
