Customs Appraisement collects Rs2b in July

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement collected record amount under heads of all duties and taxes during the month of July 2018.

According to details available with Customs Today, Collectorate of Customs Appraisement has shown growth of 40 percent in collection of customs duty during the first month of financial year 2018-19. The Collectorate collected Rs2.052 billion against assigned target of Rs1.467 billion during the month of July, 2017. Customs Appraisement has collected 40 percent extra as compared to the fiscal year of 207-18.
