Customs Appraisement collects Rs36850m duty, taxes

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement has collected over Rs36850 million duty and taxes during the ten months of financial year 2019-20 July to October.

Sources told Customs Today that the Customs Collectorate of Preventive collected Rs26739 million all duty and taxes against the purposed target for the period under review from the Appraisemnt Lahore.

Similarly the Collectorate collected Rs11176.97 million from Lahore against the set target of Rs15586 million under the assigned period.  On the other hand the Collectorate of Appraisement Lahore collected Rs1066 million from the Collectorate of Sialkot against the assigned target of Rs1224 million.

On the whole the newly set up Collectorate of Appraisement has collected Rs36850 million against the set target of Rs52337 million for the ten months of the financial year.

It is necessary to mention here that Collector Appraisement Amjadur Rehman directed all relevant field formations to use all available resources to generate legitimate revenue.
