Customs Appraisement collects Rs48413m duty, taxes

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement has collected Rs48413 million duty and taxes during nine months of financial year 2016-17 against the target of Rs50370 for the period under review.

The collectorate collected Rs18291 million customs duty during the nine months while it collected Rs25297 million sales tax during the period under review.

Similarly the collectoarte collected Rs4773 million withholding tax during the nine months while it collected Rs50 million federal excise duty during July to March financial year 2016-17. Over all the Collectorate collected Rs48413 million duty and taxes during the first nine months of financial year 2016-17.
