Customs Appraisement collects Rs5763.305m till November 2017

FAISALABAD: The Collectorate of Customs Appraisement surpassed the revenue collection target assigned for (July-November ) 2017-18 as it collected Rs 5763.305 million against the set target of Rs5191.64 million.

Sources told Customs Today, the Custom Appraisement was assigned Rs 3791.46 million revenue collection target in wake of sales tax (ST) but appraisement surpassed the target by 109.9 percent as it collected Rs 4164.958 million during the above said period.

Under the head of customs duty Appraisement collected Rs1537.224 million against the set target of Rs 1341.79 million by achieving target up to 112.9 percent.

Customs Appraisement generated Rs 61.27 million as income tax against the assigned target of Rs 58.22 million that was achieved up to 104.8 percent, while it collected Rs 0.096 million in wake of federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs 0.17 million.
