Customs Appraisement collects Rs 944m during July 2016

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement collected Rs 944 million as station wise customs duty from Mughalpura Dry Port, Carriage and Freight Station Machikay and Prem Nagar.

According to details, the Mughalpura Dry Port collected Rs 399 million duty and taxes during July of financial year 2016-17 against Rs 371 million collected during the same period of last financial year of 2015-16.

The collectorate collected Rs 378 million from CFS during financial year July 2016-17 against Rs 359 million during July 2015-16.

Similarly, the collectorate collected Rs 129 million under the head of customs duty from Machikay during the first month of FY 2016-17 against Rs 43 million collected during same period of last financial year.

The colletorate of Apprasiement gathered Rs 37 million from Prem Nagar during the period under review against Rs 78 million during the same period last financial year.

On the whole the collectorate collected Rs 944 million during the period under review against Rs 852 million same period of last financial year.
