Customs Appraisement–East collects Rs 6.833 billion in 9 days

KARACHI: Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement-East has set a new record by collecting Rs 1.648 billion as duty/taxes in one day.

According to the details, MCC Appraisement-East collected Rs 833 million under the head of Sales Tax (ST), Rs 230 million in the sum of Withholding Tax (WHT).

Similarly, MCC Appraisement-East has also recovered Rs10 million in the wake of Federal Excise Duty (FED) on April 9, 2015.

As a whole, Appraisement-East collected Rs 6.833 billion during first nine days (April 1-April 9) of the current month April.

Meanwhile, MCC Appraisement-East Collector Manzoor Memon appreciated the performance of the officers those took part in the revenue collection and hoped that in future MCC Appraisement-East would set new records regarding the revenue collection.
