Customs Appraisement holds auction of goods, vehicles at AICT today

KARACHI: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement held the auction of goods and vehicles at Al-Hamd International Container Terminal (AICT) on Monday.

According to the details, the auction is being conducted on the directives of collector Customs Appraisement Karachi. The auction will also be held on the second day on Tuesday.

The auction starts at 10:00 AM at Al-Hamd International Container Terminal (AICT) situated at Maripur road according to SRO 450 (1) 2001 under schedule 03/2017 on as is where is basis.

The vehicles which were offered for auction include Suzuki Every van, Laping car, Jimny, Alto Eco, Daihatsu Mira, Toyota Vits, Honda Life, N-One Car, Toyota Prius, Passo, Jewela, Rush ambulance, Mazda Scrum etc.

While general cargo includes old and used machinery, auto parts, iron wire, RV parts, electronic spare parts, window type AC, rubber hose pipe, board sweeping, computer hard disks, batteries fan motor and other things.

The bidders who are willing to participate in the auctions at AICT are directed to bring Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) along with their NTN number, they are asked to pay 25 percent of the total amount at the time of auction while remaining 75 percent amount along with 10 percent income tax would be deposited in the national exchequer within 7 days of the auctions.
