Customs Appraisement issues notice to employee for alleged misconduct

LAHORE: The Customs Appraisement of Mughalpura Dry Port has issued a notice to one of its employees on misconduct.

Sources told Customs Today that Assistant Collector Appraisement has issued a notice to Ziaul Islam son of Abdul Islam to make sure his presence before the departmental investigative disciplinary authority on  August 8, 2016. Ziaul Islam is suspended by the authorities due to his alleged misconduct.

Sources said that driver Ziaul Islam is a resident of house number 547 D-4 Town ship Lahore and his duties are placed at Mughalpura dry port Lahore.

According to the notice issued to him in case of failure before the competent authority on the date and time fixed, disciplinary proceedings shall be decided on the basis of material evidences available on record.
