Customs Appraisement issues tax notice to MS Sky International

LAHORE: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement has issued recovery notice to MS Sky International Company under sub-section 2 and 3 of Section 202 of the Pakistan Customs Act, 1969.

According to the sources, the assistant collector issued a notice to MS Sky International that is allegedly defaulter of Rs 169,169 in wake of arrears. The amount is recoverable from the company for a long time but it did not pay the amount to the customs. They added that the company has failed to submit dues so a notice was being served on it directing it to pay the amount within 15 days otherwise legal action will be taken against it.

The notice stated that in case of failure in submission of dues, the customs can attach and sale the immovable properties of the company and even can appoint a receiver for management of movable and immovable properties of the company.

The company has also been barred from selling or leasing the movable and immovable properties without permission of the Customs Appraisement.

The Customs Appraisement issued this notice at address of the company, Shop No. 1, 1st Floor National Bara Market Shahalam Market, Lahore.
