Customs Appraisement West misses revenue target for March 2017

KARACHI: With a shortage of Rs 1.840 billion, the customs Appraisement West collected Rs12.880 billion customs duty against the assigned target of Rs 14.730 billion in March 2017.

According to details, as a whole, the Appraisement West collected Rs26.408 billion duty and taxes in March. The Collectorate collected Rs12.880 billion customs duty, Rs9.740 billion sales tax, Rs3.600 billion income tax, and Rs176 million federal excise duty in the above said period.
