Customs Appraiser Sher Khan reinstated

ISLAMABAD: Sher Khan, Appraiser (BS-16), Model Customs Collectorate of Apprasiement-West, Karachi, has been exonerated from charges level against him.

The disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the officer under Government Servants Efficiency & Discipline) Rules, 1973 vide Charge Sheet No.10(1)/2016-Cust-III dated 21.01.2016.

Ghulam Hyder Mahesar, Deputy Director (BS-18), Directorate of Internal Audit (Customs), Karachi, was appointed as inquiry officer. According to inquiry report, the charges levelled against the accused officer were not established. The authorized officer/Chief (Management-Customs) FBR acquitted/exonerated Sher Khan from the charges levelled against him.

The officer has been reinstated into the government service from the date of his suspension from January 22 onwards and his period of suspension was treated as having been spent on duty.
