Customs arrests passenger for trying to smuggle foreign currency to Dubai

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate Preventive staff posted at Jinnah International Airport departure lounge arrested a passenger namely Mushtaq Ahmed Meo.

Sources told Customs Today that 66800 Saudi riyals, 9000 UAE dirhams and  2775 Omani riyal were recovered from a passenger, who was  leaving for Dubai through Emirates Air flight No. EK-611. The seized currency is equivalent to $27000.
