LAHORE: The Customs Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) detained auto parts worth Rs 30 million, official sources told Customs Today.
Sources said that the ASO staff of the Customs Collectorate, in pursuant to an information under the supervision of Assistant Collector Dr Muhammad Adnan Khan, and Superintendents Munawar Ahmad Khan, raided a godown at Misri Shah.
The sources said that the owner of the gowdown was told to produce legal documents about the items but the owner failed to provide any relevant documents.
It was also told that the customs authorities registered a case and have initiated investigations.
