LAHORE: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) of the Customs Preventive has seized an illegally imported truck loaded with spices.
Sources told Customs Today that on the information of Additional Collector Customs Amir Rasheed, an ASO team raided Akbari Market and detained a truck loaded with non-customs paid spices worth millions of rupees. Sources said that the Pak Kashmir Goods Company has illegally brought the spices loaded truck from Rawalpindi. The non-customs paid spices were to be dumped in the local market.
The ASO has registered a case and has started investigations. The ASO raiding team was consisting of Superintendent Munawar Khan and inspectors of the organization.
