Customs ASO impounds NDP Prado worth Rs5m near Darbar Chowk

LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Preventive Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) impounded one non-duty paid Prado near Darbar Chowk.

Sources told that that the ASO team on information of Collector Customs Preventive Ahmad Rauf intercepted various vehicles for checking in Behria Town and impounded one Prado from Darbar Chowk.

The Illegal Parado was being used by a businessman namely Irashad. The Customs authorities after impounding the Prado transferred it to the Customs Warehouse.

The sources said that the raiding team was consisting on Additional Collector M Ashfaq , Inspector Sohail Murtza, Rao Waqar and others were the part of the raiding team.

The Cusoms sources said that a case has been registered and further investigation are still under way.
