LAHORE: Customs Preventive Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) seizes huge quantity of smuggled electronics items worth Rs 6.5 million during a raiding on a shop located at Hall Road.
Sources informed Customs Today that customs authorities received credible information that some smuggled items were stored in a godown at Hall Road. Sources said that these good were smuggled into the country by using Afghan Transit Trade route. The seized items includes 50 LEDs, 52 bodies of LEDs, 220 LED kits, 30 TV bodies, 47350 nos of mobile chargers, 10000 of mobile batteries, 40 circuit board.
Customs ASO department registered a case of smuggling and started investigations.
