LAHORE: The Customs Preventive Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) has seized three vehicles, including a BMW, sources have told Customs Today.
The sources said that the BMW, Pajero and Toyota Surf have been seized on the instructions of Collector of Customs Mukarram Jah Ansari.
The collector constituted a team consisting of Superintendent Munawar Khan, Inspector Sajjad Bukhari and other inspectors. The team was headed by Assistant Collector Dr Adnan.
The team intercepted these vehicles at different places including Lari Ada, Band Road and Defense in Lahore. According to the official sources the total value of the vehicles has been estimated at Rs 4.7 million. The sources said that the vehicles were non customs paid and tempered and were being illegally used.
