Customs officials bid farewell to ex-FBR Member Audit Seema Majid, DG PCA Hoti

ISLAMABAD: Chief Collector Customs (North) Sarwat Tahira Habib and Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad Dr Arslan along with the officers of the Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) arranged a farewell ceremony in honor of recently retired FBR Member Audit Seema Majid and Director General Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Muhammad Khan Hoti.

FBR Chairman Nisar Mohammad Khan, Member Customs Nasir Masroor Ahmed and Member Administration Muhammad Majid Qureishi were also present at the occasion.

Addressing the participants, Collector Dr Arslan paid glowing tributes to ex-Director General PCA Muhammad Khan Hoti and FBR Member Audit Seema Majid for their valuable contribution to the FBR.

Member Customs FBR Nasir Masroor Ahmed said that when he started his career as deputy collector, Hoti was deputed assistant collector at airport and during his tenure he found him a very honest and dedicated official.

Talking about Member Audit Seema Majid, Member Customs Nasir Masroor said that she was a great colleague and extended her full support to other officials. She always performed her duties with honesty and dedication. He advised young officials to follow the footsteps of both officials. Member Customs expressed his best wishes for both retired officials.

The Chairman FBR Nisar Mohammad Khan while speaking on the occasion shared his views on the glorious career achievements of Seema Majid and Muhammad Khan Hoti he also appreciates Collector Dr. Arslan and Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib to make this event possible.

Ex-DG Muhammad Khan Hoti and Member Audit Seema Majid while addressing the gathering shared their experiences during their career in civil services.

At the end of the ceremony, Chairman FBR Nisar Mohammad Khan, Member Customs Nasir Masoor Ahmed and Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib presented souvenirs to both of retired officers.
