ISLAMABAD: The Customs Car Cell impounded a NDP-Daewoo bus on Islamabad Motorway. The said vehicle was coming from Quetta. The value of the confiscated vehicle is appraised around Rs.07million.

According to Superintendent Car Cell Chaudhry Safdar who shared a tip-off with Collector Model Customs Collectorate Islamabad Dr. Arslan, the squad of the Car Cell set up a picket on Islamabad Motor way Interchange and impounded a body cut and weld Daewoo bus which was coming from Quetta.
The smugglers fitted the Hino bus frame with Daewoo bus as the Daewoo bus is always built in a single frame vehicle. The chassis number of bus was tactfully punched on previous number which is considered unlawful. The vehicle has been intercepted and brought to the state warehouse.
