Customs hoists flag ceremony, destroys smuggled goods, items

LAHORE: Customs Central Region celebrated World Customs Day (WCO) at the Wagha Border by hoisting flag ceremony and destructing of smuggled contraband goods and items including 4140 bottles of liquor, 1000 cartons of cigarettes.

According to the details, miscellaneous items including tobacco, whey powder Alwah Juices, Gutka BOP films, Niswar sex medicnes, body lotions, sheeha flaur, coal etc.

Member Customs Zahid Khokhar was the chief guest on the occasion who distributed souvenirs amongst the outstanding performers of the customs Central Region.

Among the other Chief collector of customs Zeba Hai Azhar, Collector Faiz Ahmed, Collector Appraisement Jameel Nasir, Collector Faisalabad Asif Mehmood Jah, Director Mubashair Baig Mirza, and officers of other agencies FIA, ASF, rangers also participated.

The out-performers who received souvenirs included officers from Pakistan Customs Jamil Nasir Khan, Ghulam Mustafa,  Azmat Tahir, Muhammad Moazzam Raza, Muhamad Zohaib, Agha Qadeer Haider, Smeera Sheikh, Abbas Ali Babar, Rehan Iqbal, Amir Saeed, Farukh Sharif, Naveedur Rehman Bughvi, Nasir Minhas, Rao Khalid, Mansoor Khan, Rashid Munir, Asma Bashir, Plwasha Sayeed , Saqib Wariach and Javaid Jafar.
