Customs collects over Rs 27 million through auction of seized items

HYDERABAD:  Customs Hyderabad generates a revenue of over Rs 27 million through auction of seized items.

According to details, Items which were presented for auction included foreign origin tyres, cloth, and other confiscated goods including smuggled Iranian diesel

The auction was held at Hyderabad Customs State Warehouse where the smuggled items confiscated in May, 2015  were presented for auction through an open bid.

Assistant Collector MCC Hyderabad Samiullah supervised the entire action while Sanaullah Suharwardi Senior Superintendent, Incharge State Warehouse Hyderabad, Inspector Saleem Ajmeri Inspector Alaudin Qaimkhani, constable Mohammad Husain auction also conducted the auction.
