Customs seeks to search PIA flight at Rahim Yar Khan Airport

MULTAN: The Model of Customs Collectorate MCC Multan has requested Passenger Handling Department to ensure rummaging of planes at the Rahim Yar Khan Airport.

Multan Customs has sent written complaint about the staff of Pakistan International Airport for their negligence during their job at Rahim Yar Khan International Airport. Assistant Collector Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faizan Badar raised objection against the negligence of staff of Pakistan International Airport deputed at Rahim Yar Khan Airport.

ASO staff was not allowed to search the flight PK-296 on February, 20 at Rahim Yar Khan International Airport despite the categorical request of Assistant Collector Faizan Badar.

Director Passenger Handling of Pakistan International Airport has been requested to ensure the rummaging of planes provided under the provisions of the Customs Act 1969 for avoiding harsh consequences.
