Customs Court 16 cases on Wednesday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 16 cases on Wednesday and issued necessary orders, besides sending a suspect on judicial remand.

As per details, 16 cases of different types, including pre-arrest bail pleas moved by Kamal Shah, Muazam Ali and Azhar Fareed, were scheduled for the day, which have been adjourned until the next hearing.

The court also adjourned bail plea of Dolat Ali who is already on judicial remand until the next hearing. The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day. Court proseeded against a guaranteer of the case in which the accused is on post arrest bail but he is regularly absent from the court even many notices.

Customs Court also proceeded on cases of Muhammad Zaman, Behram Khan, Ashraf Bhatti and Muhammad Asghar for their attendance in the court in different allegation and cases. Customs Court also recorded statements in a case against Samina Ahmad.

cases of Narcotics, tax evasion and smuggling were scheduled for the day that the court has proceeded and adjourned number of them for next week.
