LAHORE: As the special judge was on leave, the Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling on Wednesday adjourned 15 cases; including pre-arrest bail pleas filed by suspects.
Hearing of pre-arrest bail pleas filed by accused Imran Pirzada and Suleman Dawood were adjourned until next week.
The cases against Shaukat Ali, Rafique Ali and Humayon Rasheed were also scheduled for hearing in which the statements of the parties were recorded. It may mention here that accused Shaukat Ali is on bail nowadays.
The cases filed by different regions of the customs were also adjourned without any proceedings as Specials Judge Chaudhary Ameer Muhammad Khan could not attend the court.
