LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling adjourned 17 important cases on Saturday as lawyers did not attend hearing.
As per details, 17 cases of different types, including pre-arrest bail pleas, post arrest bail pleas, tax evasion, customs, smuggling and narcotics were scheduled for the day.
The cases of Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot and Jhelum were scheduled for the day. The lawyers are busy in elections of Lahore Tax Bar due to which they are not attending the court hearings.
