Customs Court adjourns 18 cases on Saturday

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling heard 18 tax cases on Saturday and adjourned all of the cases until next date of hearing.

The special court adjourned many cases, including hearing of bail pleas of three suspects. The court postponed pre-arrest bail pleas filed by Muhammad Abid and Asghar Ali who are allegedly involved in tax evasion.

The court also proceeded on statements of witnesses in three different cases on the day, besides adjourned a case of narcotics smuggling. Cases of narcotics, tax evasion and smuggling were scheduled for the day before the court.
