Customs Court adjourns cell phones smuggling case

LAHORE: The Special Court of Customs Taxation and Anti-Smuggling has adjourned the hearing of a mobile phones smuggling case against Naveed Bhatti.

Earlier, the court had approved extension in judicial remand of the accused who was arrested by the customs authorities from Allama Iqbal International airport while he was making an attempt to smuggle cell phones from China to Lahore. The customs staff recovered 170 cell phones form his possession worth Rs 5 million.
