Court adjourns hearing of 16 customs related cases

LAHORE: The Customs Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of 16 cases related to customs matters.

During the hearing of most of the cases, the counsels for the accused requested the court to postpone the hearing of their respective cases for preparation of arguments on which the court adjourned the hearings for different dates.
According to cause-list, three out of 16 cases were fixed for formal hearing of accused named Shehzad, Abdullah and Tariq.

Pre-arrest bail pleas were also scheduled for Friday. The court also adjourned cases of narcotics, tax evasion, smuggling and customs matters. The cases from Faisalabad, Lahore, Gujranwala and Multan were also scheduled for hearing on Friday.
