Customs Court adjourns hearing of 22 cases

KARACHI: The Customs Court on Monday postponed the hearing of 22 cases owing to the absence of the special judge (customs taxation & anti-smuggling), Syed Faiz Rasool Rashdi.

According to the cause list, at least 22 cases were fixed for hearing, but due to absence of the judge these cases were postponed without further proceedings.

Teen out of overall 22, cases were fixed for prosecution evidences against accused Syed Mazhar Ali Zaidi, Arshad Yaqoob &others, Aziz Habib & others, Aziz Habib & others, Ishrat Hussain & others, Faheem, Amir Rauf &others, Abdul Wasi & others, Rustam Zaman, Dr. Aamir Mushtaq & others, Ijaz Ahmed & others.
