Customs Court adjourns hearing of case filed against Ayyan Ali till June 27

ISLAMABAD: Customs Court on Friday adjourned hearing of model Ayyan Ali’s money laundering case till June 27, 2018.

According to details, Special Judge Session Court Raja Ghazanfar heard the prehistoric money laundering case of Ayyan Ali as the Special Judge Customs, Taxation and Anti-Smuggling was not available.

The model did not appear before the court while the council of Ayyan Ali, Sardar Latif Khosa was also not available on the hearing date.

Meanwhile, the associate council of Ayyan Ali requested the court for exemption from appearance before the court, which was accepted by the court and adjourned the case till June 27, 2018.

Further to details, the case has become prehistoric and the interest of council and government is fading away. This is third time that the council and the accused did not appear before the court is fixed far-flung date of hearing.

It is important to mention here that super model Ayyan Ali was arrested by custom officials from Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad while traveling to Dubai on March 14, 2015 smuggling currency of $508,000.
